II.

Bonjour! Fellow Coahomans

We finally made it. We the willing did the impossible.
We formulated our minds to produce the book of the
year.

We chose as our theme "CJC The Home Away From
Home" for a good reason. What better place can you
think of that is more comfortable, warm and exciting.

We have tried to capture the most momentous
moments that you can treasure forever. There were times
when it felt as if it were a one man job and the long hours
and deadlines brought about unwanted pressures and
frustrations.

It is our sincere hope that you will be proud of the 1981
COAHOMAN today, tomorrow and forever. From this
we will know that we have accomplished our goal.

I would like to thank Mr. Timothy Burrell, Mr. John
Mayo, Mr. Thomas Richardson, but most of all Madame
Josephine P. Rhymes and the and the rest of the Coahoma
family that made this book possible.

I would like to give special thanks to my grandparents
Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Nelson who gave me the chance to
find out where my talents lie. //''

Tommie, Daphne, Beatrice, Dianne, Debra, Mae Wil-
live, Torrence, Erma, Jessie and Chuck, and Augusta —
Thanks a million.
